Zero-Tolerance Policy Statement
Govind National College, Narangwal, maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment, gender-based discrimination, and exploitation. In accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act) and the University Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015, the campus is systematically committed to providing a safe, secure, inclusive, and dignified environment for all female students, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and campus visitors.
Any proven act of harassment or retaliatory behavior shall attract stringent punitive actions under the college disciplinary code, up to and including the summary termination of employment for staff or immediate rustication/expulsion for enrolled students.

At least 50% of the executive seats on the Internal Complaints Committee are held by women. During formal inquiries, the ICC functions as a quasi-judicial body holding the statutory powers of a Civil Court.

Reporting and Grievance Registration Procedure
Any aggrieved woman who has encountered sexual harassment or gender discrimination within the physical or digital boundaries of the campus can file an official complaint via three secure pathways:
- Digital Submission: Use the secure intake portal embedded below.
- Direct Electronic Mail: Dispatch a comprehensive written report directly to the Presiding Officer at icc.chair@gncnarangwal.edu.in.
- Physical Submission: Deliver a sealed, written, and signed formal letter directly to the office of the Presiding Officer.
- Statutory Reporting Timeline: Grievance requests must be submitted within a maximum of three (3) months from the date of the occurrence (or the latest date in a sequence of occurrences).
- Absolute Confidentiality Enforced: Under Section 16 of the POSH Act, the identities of complainants, respondents, and witnesses are strictly legally protected and entirely exempted from disclosures under the Right to Information (RTI) Act.
