About the Student Grievance Redressal Committee
Mandate: As per the UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023, every Higher Education Institution is required to constitute a Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) to resolve student grievances in a fair, transparent, and time-bound manner.
The SGRC at Govind National College, Narangwal, is empowered to address grievances related to academic matters, examinations, fee disputes, hostel, and any other institutional issue affecting students. All complaints are treated with strict confidentiality.

Grievance Redressal Process
- Submit Complaint — Student submits grievance via the online form below or in writing to the SGRC Chairperson.
- Acknowledgement — SGRC acknowledges receipt and issues a Reference Number within 3 working days.
- Examination — SGRC examines the grievance and may call for a hearing with the student and concerned parties.
- Resolution — SGRC communicates its decision within 15 working days from the date of complaint.
- Appeal to Ombudsperson — If the student is not satisfied, they may appeal to the Ombudsperson within 30 days of SGRC’s decision.
Ombudsperson
The Ombudsperson is an independent authority appointed to hear appeals against SGRC decisions. Students may approach the Ombudsperson if unsatisfied with the SGRC’s resolution.
